XENSE ROBOTICS to Booth:H8C24

Xense Robotics, founded in May 2024 and headquartered in Shanghai, is a high-tech enterprise specializing in multimodal tactile sensing technology. The company is dedicated to advancing robotic fine manipulation through innovative tactile perception capabilities, providing core technological support for developing new quality productive forces in intelligent robotics.

Professor Ma Daolin, the founder, is a leading scientist in tactile perception. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, he was awarded the Best Paper Award at ICRA 2021 (IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation) and pioneered the novel robotics approach of "building spatial perception through tactile sensing". The core team members hail from top-tier institutions worldwide, including MIT, Peking University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, University College London, University of Sydney, etc. Xense Robotics possesses three core technologies: tactile sensors, tactile perception algorithms, and tactile control algorithms.

CORE TECHNOLOGY AND PRODUCTS

Xense Robotics specializes in developing multimodal tactile perception and intelligent control technologies for robotic fine manipulation, overcoming limitations of conventional tactile sensors that only detect pressure distribution with insufficient resolution. The company's proprietary multimodal tactile sensor delivers breakthrough innovation by simultaneously capturing high-resolution 3D force, kinesthetic, and slip perception data; achieving real-time high-precision motion tracking via tactile perception; and, pioneering the "External Contact Perception" theoretical framework, which enables robots to simultaneously perceive force and motion dynamics, providing a groundbreaking solution for dexterous operations.

Core products include:‌ • High-Resolution Multimodal Tactile Sensors ‌• Intelligent Tactile Perception & Control Modules

APPLICATIONS

Humanoid robot dexterous hands, precision assembly, healthcare rehabilitation, warehouse logistics, etc.
